Overview of SK water ring vacuum pump
SK series water ring vacuum pumps and compressors are used to pump or compress air and other non corrosive, insoluble, and non solid particles, so as to form vacuum and pressure in closed containers. SK direct connected water ring vacuum pump and compressor are widely used in machinery, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, sugar industry and electronic field. Because the compression process of the gas is isothermal in the work process, it is not easy to cause danger when compressing and pumping the explosive gas, so its application is more extensive.

Figure (a) shows, eccentric impeller installed in the pump body, pump start, to pump a certain height into the water, when the impeller rotates, the water from the role of centrifugal force and the formation of a rotating water ring on the inner wall of the pump body, water ring in the lower part of the surface and wheel tangent, along the direction of the arrow. In turn, in the process before the half turn, the water ring surface gradually and so on the blade hub detachment, formed between space and expand gradually, internal pressure is lower than the inlet pressure, the inhaled gas. In the latter half of the process, the inner surface of the water ring is gradually close to the hub, the space volume between the blades is reduced, and the gas pressure is discharged when the pressure is higher than the atmospheric pressure. So the impeller works repeatedly, the pump continuously pumping gas.
In the process of work, the water will work with the duration of the heating, while part of the water will be discharged with the gas, therefore, the work process must continue to pump the cold water, to cool and supplement the water consumed in the pump.
